Referral Dentistry
An advanced practitioner in Equine Dentistry since 2016, Sam has over 12 years experience focusing on routine & surgical dental clinical work, teaching and examining. He ran a busy first-opinion and referral dental clinic for 4 years where he formed strong relationships with local Equine Dental Technicians and equine vet practices. He continues to provide this service, working closely with many equine practices in the South West and South Wales. Sam is able to provide advanced dental procedures for horses in the Bristol, North Somerset, Somerset, Devon, Wiltshire, Bath, South Wales and Gloucestershire areas.
Sam has historically run the BEVA motorised dentistry course and lectures veterinary students in Equine Dentistry. Last year he was chief examiner for the BEVA/BAEDT Equine Dental Technician exam and has also examined veterinary surgeons completing the RCVS Certificate in Equine Dentistry.

We can perform many of the treatments in a mobile setting on the horse’s yard as all our equipment is portable. Some surgeries are best carried out in a clinic setting and we can arrange for this to be done at our clinic at Copper Beech Farm where we have standing surgical facilities.
